TMKOC actor Gurucharan Singh’s condition ‘worsened’ – His friend shares health update

New Delhi: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor, who played the role of Roshan Sodhi in the popular sitcom, has been hospitalised again. Speaking to Vicky Lalwani on his YouTube channel, Gurucharan’s friend Bhakti Soni shared the actor’s health update. She revealed that he had not eaten food or consumed water for 17-18 days.

She also shared with Times of India TV that the actor was hospitalised a few days back but he got discharged, following which his health “worsened” and he is now admitted to a government hospital.

Gurucharan Singh is in poor health

Bhakti Soni shared in an interview with Times of India TV said that the actor’s family members have had their phones switched off since last night, leaving everyone worried. She further added that she had been in touch with Gurucharan’s mother but now, the family is unreachable. She also said that the actor’s health has been very poor.

Soni added that Gurucharan is “disturbed” but cannot say if he is “depressed”.

Gurucharan’s financial condition

Bhakti Soni further opened up about the actor’s fiancial condition and revealed that he has a debt of Rs 1.2 crore, adding, that his father owns a property estimated at Rs 55 crore but there is an ongoing dispute as the tenants are not vacating the property. She expressed that if the property gets sold then Gurucharan will be able to clear off his debt.

Soni also shared that the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor has exhausted his saving in legal fees, trying to sell off the property, adding, “When he needs support the most, no one, including his family members, is helping him. It’s only friends like me and one friend in Delhi who have been supporting him financially.”
