NIPB Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details

There are three vacancies available for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) & Young Professional-II at ICAR-National Institute for Plant Biotechnology.

ICAR NIPB Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The educational qualifications and age limit required for ICAR NIPB recruitment are detailed below.

(1) Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Essential Qualification:

• Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Science, Botany, Genetics, Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Plant Physiology, or Microbiology with a 4-year/5-year Bachelor’s degree.
• Candidates with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree and 2-year Master’s degree must have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience as per ICAR/DST guidelines.

Age Limit:

• Male: 35 years
• Female: 40 years

(2) Young Professional-II

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Biological Science/ Life Science/ Plant Biotechnology.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 45 years
