Who is Prem Dhillon, the Punjabi Singer whose Canada home was shot at?

New Delhi: Gunshots have been fired at Punjabi singer Prem Dhillon’s home in Canada. After the incident, gang Jaipal Bhullar claimed responsibility for the attack. The shots were fired in Canada on February 3 (Monday). The gang shared a post in which they mentioned the name of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, who was shot dead in Punjab’s Mansa district in 2022.

As per the security agencies, the responsibility for the attack has been claimed by Zenta Kharad, a member of the Jaypal Bhullar gang, who resides in Australia. He is also a close associate of Khalistani terrorist Arsh Dala.

Who is Prem Dhillon?

Premjeet Singh Dhillon, famously known as Prem Dhillon, is a Punjabi singer from Canada. Born on January 4, 1995, in Amritsar, he is a renowned singer and songwriter in the Punjabi music industry. He was born to Punjabi Sikh parents, Kuldeep Singh Dhillon and Bhagwant Kaur. He made his debut in the music industry with the single ‘Chan Milondi’. He gained significant fame with his song ‘Boot Cut’, which amassed over 37 million views upon its release. In 2020, he released ‘Old Skool’, featuring Sidhu Moose Wala and Nseeb. In April, his song ‘Jatt Hunde Aa’, debuted at number 38 on the Apple Music chart in India.

In 2023, the gang also claimed responsibility for a purported shooting at singer Gippy Grewal’s home in Canada.
