New Delhi: The Weeknd fans assemble! The much-awaited album ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ has finally been released. The album is the third and final chapter in The Weeknd trilogy. The album was dropped on Friday (January 31) via XO and Republic Records. It was originally scheduled to release on January 24 but was postponed due to the wildfire crisis in Los Angeles.

The newly released album is the last installment, following ‘After Hours’ (2020) and ‘Dawn FM’ (2022). The LP was preceded by three singles including ‘Dancing in the Flames’, ‘Timeless’ with Playboi Carti and ‘São Paulo’ featuring Anitta. In fact ‘Timeless’ also secured third position on the Billboard Hot 100 in October 2024.

The new and last album of The Weeknd ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ has a total of 22 songs and is available to stream on Spotify, YouTube and other digital platforms. The list of songs in the album is as follows:

Lana Del Rey’s vocals in ‘The Abyss’

A surprise collaboration featured in the song ‘The Abyss’ between The Weeknd and Lana Del Rey. Listeners were quickly able to identify Del Rey’s distinct vocals in the haunting track. This was the duo’s third collaboration after List For Life’s ‘Stargirl Interlude’ and ‘Beautiful’.

The Weeknd to make feature film debut

The Canadian-Ethiopian artist Abel Tesfaye aka The Weeknd will also make his feature film debut with the upcoming film, psychological thriller, Hurry Up Tomorrow, directed by Trye Edward and starring Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan.

Meanwhile, after 14 years of redefining pop and R&B, The Weeknd’s latest album release marks the end of an era.
