YRKKH written update [10 January 2025]: Vidya goes to JAIL? Armaan Vs Abhira in court

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update: The latest episode of YRKKH, scheduled to air on January 10, 2025, begins with Armaan furiously confronting Sanjay about spiking his drink. Sanjay argues that it was all to save Vidya from jail time. Armaan rushes to Abhira hoping to explain what went wrong. However, Abhira accuses the Poddars of questioning Abhir’s mental stability. She gets furious at Armaan for the foul play. While Kaveri attempts to stop Abhira from speaking to Armaan. He asks her to step back so Abhira can speak to him.

Meanwhile, Manish laments that the Goenkas surely know how to settle scores. On the other hand, Kaveri approaches Sanjay stating that he was right to do what he did in court. Further, she asks Sanjay to take over the case from Armaan. This decision deeply offends Armaan. But, Kaveri points out that he would take Abhira’s side to send his mother to jail. So, he cannot be trusted.

When Abhir learns that Sanjay tried to deem him mentally unfit in court, he decides to end his life. But, Abhira spots Abhir in time and stops him from eating a handful of sleeping pills. Abhira urges Abhir to think about his family before taking such steps. This is when Abhira realises that her wedding ring is missing from her fingers.

Armaan notices Abhira’s ring on the floor and believes that Abhira does not want to do anything with him. He mulls over how he is not able to handle his relationship with Abhira. Armaan decides to fight for his family, just like Abhira has. On the other hand, Abhira thinks whoever would win the case, she is losing on both sides. Both Vidya and Armaan ignore Abhira. Armaan decides to take back control of the case and fight for Vidya’s freedom.

He calls up Kiara to testify and proves that Abhir was driving well over the speed limit. He deems that Vidya is not the culprit here. He, however, offers compensation for the victims’ loss. Next, Abhira defends Abhir. She asks to show the CCTV footage of the day of the accident. Armaan panics and informs the judge that they were not made aware of the video. Abhira argues that they were not informed about Abhir’s fake mental health reports too. The judge allows Abhira to show the footage.

Armaan and the Poddars stand stunned to see the CCTV footage. Abhira goes on to call Vidya for questioning. Abhira pushes Vidya, she questions whether the CCTV footage is real. In tears, Vidya confesses that the video is real. She admits her crime but reiterates that the accident was unintentional and not out of malice. The episode ends with the judge sentencing Vidya to 10 years in prison.
