Appearing on Samay Raina’s whacky talent show, India’s Got Latent, Apoorva initially gained traction for her ‘savage’ reply to a contestant who made crude remarks against her. However, as fellow YouTuber and panellist on the show, Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps found trouble after his controversial reply, the plot has thickened. Apoorva Mukhija rose to fame during the COVID-19 pandemic for her entertaining Instagram skits and reels. Her unfiltered commentary on her life gained traction among youngsters. With 2.6 million Instagram followers and over 500,000 subscribers on YouTube, The Rebel Kid is predominantly followed by women. Even before her India’s Got Latent rodeo, Apoorva faced criticism for her foul language and was labelled a bad influence on young minds.

Despite this, Apoorva Mukhija has been climbing the social media ladder by collaborating with major brands like OnePlus, Netflix, Spotify, Google, Hotstar, Amazon, and Meta.

Apoorva Mukhija on India’s Got Latent

This fame eventually brought her to India’s Got Latent, one of the most popular shows among the Indian youth. Known for his ‘dark humour’ style, Samay Raina, the creator of the show has been experiencing immense popularity as the show keeps getting the most viral celebrities as judges. So, the show borrows Samay Raina’s edgy humour and takes it up a notch as contestants try their hand at different talents to get their time in the spotlight.

One such contestant, who was bombing his stand-up comedy set, directed an offensive remark towards Apoorva. The YouTuber did not hold back as she gave him an equally offensive and befitting reply. But, not many have taken this comment lightly. The contestant asked, “Vagina mein sensation khatam ho gaya hai?” Apoorva retorted, “Kabhi vagina dekhi hai maa se nikalne ke baad?”. This quick comeback drew laughter from the audience but, parts of the internet think otherwise.

While some praised Apoorva for shutting down the rude contestant, others called it offensive and vulgar. Ranveer Allahbadia took to X to issue a formal apology for his controversial remark, but both Samay Raina and Apoorva Mukhija have remained silent on the issue.
