With new fans that ushered in after the trend, Vicky Kaushal has quite the audience to impress. Well, all the fans have a great surprise coming in!

Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming film, Chhaava is set to release on February 14, 2025. With the release next month, the trailer for the film is set to unveil soon! Here is everything you need to know about Chhaava.

Chhava trailer release date

Under the Maddock Films banner, the trailer for Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava is set to release on January 22, 2025. The production company took to its official Instagram page to bring the exciting announcement. Further, fans also got the first glimpse at Vicky Kaushal’s royal look for the film. “On 16th January 1681, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s Rajyabhishek ceremony marked the beginning of a legendary legacy! 344 years later, we bring his story of unshaken courage and glory to life…” read the announcement caption.

What is Chhaava about?

The upcoming film Chhaava is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, also known as Chhaava he was the emperor Chhatrapati of the Maratha empire and ruled from 1681 to 1689. For those unversed, Chhatrapati Sambhaji was the eldest son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The emperor was known for his strategic leadership, military prowess and creating a top-tier defence for the Maratha kingdom. Sambhaji’s reign saw intense warfare with the Mughal Empire.

Apart from Vicky Kaushal, the film’s cast includes Rashmika Mandanna, Yesubai Bhonsale, Divya Dutta, and Akshaye Khanna. After back-to-back supernatural films, Chhaava marks Maddock Film’s first venture into the historical epic genre.
