SS Rajamouli accused of mental harassment by close friend in suicide note

New Delhi: Filmmaker SS Rajamouli found himself embroiled in a shocking controversy after his close friend named Uppalapati Srinivasa Rao raised some serious allegations against him. U Srinivasa Rao, who was contemplating suicide,  accused the renowned filmmaker of mental harassment and stated that a woman was the reason behind the rift between the two friends in his suicide note.

As per Telugu Scribe, Srinivas recorded a video describing his ordeal and also left a suicide note for the cops, where he blamed Rajamouli for his death. Let’s delve into further details!

Serious allegations against Rajamouli

A man named Uppalapati Srinivasa Rao claimed that his association with SS Rajamouli, which dates back to 1990, has left him in despair. He further accused the RRR director of causing him immense emotional distress and significantly impacting his life.

According to a report by Gulte, Srinivasa Rao submitted a letter to the Mettuguda police stating that his troubles were rooted in a love triangle, which eventually led to their fallout. He also alleged that Rajamouli is the reason for him being unmarried for 55 years and accused the filmmaker of “emotionally tormenting him over a woman”.

“He asked me to sacrifice my love for her, and while I didn’t agree at first, I did later on. He believed I’d told people about this, and he began torturing me after we got into an argument,” he added.

Srinivas also alleged that he could not provide any concrete evidence for events that happened between three individuals. He also stated that he felt hopeless and even considered ending his life. However, SS Rajamouli or his team are yet to react to allegations.
