Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be officers from Major Port Authorities who meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Essential:
  • Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India OR
  • Member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India
  • A degree from a recognized university

Experience Required:

• 9 years of executive experience in Finance, Accounting in an Industrial/Commercial/Govt. Undertaking
• Officers holding analogous posts OR
• Senior Accounts Officers with 4 years of regular service in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000/-
• Combined regular service of 9 years in the Finance Department at specified pay scales

Age Limit:

• Maximum Age: 40 years

Selection Process for SMP Kolkata Recruitment 2025

• Selection will be done by deputation/absorption.
• Eligible officers from Major Port Authorities will be considered.
• Candidates should meet the prescribed qualifications and experience as per the Recruitment Rules (Annexure-I).
