SAI Internship Program in Sports Science Notification 2025 Out

The Sports Authority of India (SAI), National Centre of Excellence in Guwahati is offering an 8-week unpaid internship for students with strong academic records and a keen interest in sports science research. This opportunity is open to those eager to gain hands-on experience in the field at SAI, NCOE, Guwahati.

Sports Authority of India Internship Program 2025 Eligibility Criteria

SAI Internship Program 2025 Eligibility Criteria Details are given below:-

Eligibility Criteria:

(1) Sports Physiotherapy:-

• Students who have appeared in the term-end exams of the first year/2nd Semester of their postgraduate program in Physiotherapy.
• Students who have completed graduation in Physiotherapy and are waiting for admission for higher studies / Completed PG or PG Diploma in Physiotherapy, having completed/appeared in the 2nd Semester exam.

(2) Sports Psychology

• Students who have appeared in the term-end exams of the first year/2nd Semester of their postgraduate program in Applied/Sports/Clinical Psychology/Counselling and Guidance.
• Students Completed graduation in Applied/Sports/Clinical Psychology/Counselling and Guidance and waiting for admission for higher studies /Completed PG or PG Diploma in Applied/Sports/Clinical Psychology/Counselling and Guidance having completed/appeared in 2nd Semester exam.

(3) Sports Biomechanics

• Students who have appeared in the first year/second semester term-end examination of their postgraduate program must have a Master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science (specialization in Biomechanics), MSc in Sports Biomechanics, MSc in Biophysics, MSc in Human Movement Science, MPT (in Sports/Biomechanics), BTech/MTech in Mechanical Engineering (specialization in Biomechanics).
• Students who are awaiting admission to higher education in MSc in Sports and Exercise Science (Specialization in Biomechanics), MSc in Sports Biomechanics, MSc in Biophysics, MSc in Human Movement Science, MPT (Specialization in Sports/Biomechanics), BTech/MTech in Mechanical Engineering (Specialization in Biomechanics) and have completed their Master’s Degree and have appeared for the third-semester examination.

SAI Internship Program Notification 2025 Selection Process

Applications received will be reviewed and selected candidates will be notified via email.

SAI Internship Program 2025 Application Process

Students who wish to apply for the internship should submit their application in the prescribed format (Annexure I) via email to rcguwahati.sai@gov.in, addressing it to the Executive Director, SAI, Regional Centre, Guwahati.
