Rakhi Sawant gets 3-day ultimatum for marriage from Pakistani Mufti – Here’s what’s happening

New Delhi: Controversial queen Rakhi Sawant never fails to grab headlines and this time, it’s her potential third marriage that has everyone talking. Some days back, the Bigg Boss alum publicly expressed her intent to marry Pakistani YouTuber Doddy Khan. However, he backed out at the last minute and Rakhi is now at the centre of yet another unexpected proposal.

In a shocking turn of events, a 58-year-old Pakistani cleric named Mufti Abdul Qavi has openly declared his wish to marry Rakhi and has even issued her a three-day ultimatum to respond to his proposal. During an interview with Pakistan’s Rohi channel, Mufti Qavi shared his plans and stated that he wants to take Rakhi on a honeymoon to Japan and sees nothing wrong in approaching her for marriage.

Three-day ultimatum for Rakhi Sawant

Mufti Qavi has made it clear that Rakhi has only 72 hours to decide. If she accepts, their wedding plans will move forward; if she rejects, he says he will simply turn to prayers instead. “I won’t take a U-turn,” he asserted. Furthermore, he added that he has been receiving messages from people in Rawalpindi and other places regarding the situation.

So far, Rakhi has remained tight-lipped on the matter. She hasn’t acknowledged Mufti Qavi’s proposal or given any indication of her decision. However, her latest social media antics have only fueled the drama.

Rakhi’s ‘scripted’ crying video goes viral

In a video currently circulating online, Rakhi is seen sobbing inside a flight, dressed in a red bridal outfit, supposedly en route to Pakistan. Many social media users have labelled the video as “scripted drama.” When asked about marrying Mufti Abdul Qavi, Rakhi hesitated, first wanting to know his age. Mufti revealed he is 58, has been married once and is already a great-grandfather, adding, “Love should be discussed in person.”

Upon hearing his age, Rakhi quipped, “A man and a horse never grow old.” However, instead of demanding wealth for Mahr, she made an unexpected request—peace and friendship between India and Pakistan. Declaring she’d even sacrifice herself for the cause, Rakhi received Mufti’s assurance that their marriage would help fulfil this vision.
