There are eleven vacancies available for the Faculty position at the National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj.

NIRDPR Recruitment 2025 Post Details

The educational qualifications, age limit, and pay scale required for NIRDPR recruitment are detailed below.

(1) Associate Professor under SoEPR:

• Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Development Planning, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, or Rural Development with at least 55% marks. A Ph.D. in any related field is mandatory.
• Age Limit: 50 years
• Pay Scale: Rs. 2,50,000/-

(2) Assistant Professor, Centre for Panchayat Governance, e-Governance and Service Delivery

• Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, or Rural Development with at least 55% marks, along with a Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Pay Scale: Rs. 1,20,000/-

(3) Assistant Professor, Centre for Panchayat Finance, Accounts & Audit

• Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Economics, Accounts, or Finance with at least 55% marks, along with a Ph.D. in Public Finance or a related field.
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Pay Scale: Rs. 1,20,000/-

(4) Assistant Professor, Centre for Localisation of SDGs, Integrated Panchayat Planning and Convergence

• Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Development Studies, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, or Rural Development with at least 55% marks, along with a Ph.D. in any of the mentioned fields.
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Pay Scale: Rs. 1,20,000/-

(5) Assistant Professor, Centre for Public Health, Sanitation and Infrastructure Development through Panchayats

• Educational Qualification: A master’s degree in Public Health or Environmental Engineering with a focus on public health, or Civil Engineering, along with a Ph.D. in any of the mentioned fields.
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Pay Scale: Rs. 1,20,000/-
