Kareena, along with their sons Taimur and Jeh, visited Saif at the hospital on Sunday (January 19). The family rallied around the actor with Saif’s mother Sharmila Tagore, sister Soha Ali Khan, and brother-in-law Kunal Kemmu also spotted at the hospital.

The attack occurred early Thursday morning during an attempted robbery. Saif sustained six stab wounds, including two deep injuries near his spine, causing a spinal fluid leak. He also suffered a minor neck wound. The injuries, though serious, are being treated, and the Salaam Namaste actor is reported to be stable.

The Mumbai police have apprehended the suspect, identified as Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, in Thane on Saturday night. Preliminary investigations revealed Shahzad, a Bangladeshi national, had entered India illegally and adopted the name Vijay Das to hide his identity. A police officer confirmed his confession, stating, “Haan, maine hi kiya (Yes, I did it).”

The 30-year-old accused was presented at the Bandra Court on Sunday and has been remanded to police custody for five days. Authorities are now investigating how he entered the country and the events leading up to the attack.
