Is Ranveer Singh launching his production house? Actor’s team clarifies

New Delhi: Whispers started to swirl around about Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh launching his production house. As the rumours started to circulate, fans expressed their excitement over the actor calling the shots but it was short-lived. Soon, Ranveer’s team quashed the rumours, breaking several hearts.

Not only this but reports also stated that Singh had already registered his production company and was in the process of setting up its office near the Prabhadevi apartment in Mumbai. Reports also claimed that the Padmaavat actor is actively working on a high-concept post-apocalyptic action film.

What did Ranveer Singh’s team say?

Speaking with News18, a spokesperson for Ranveer Singh called the reports “absolutely untrue,” adding that there has been no development like this so far. The insider also said that Singh is currently shooting and focusing on his upcoming project. Recently, Ranveer was spotted in his new avatar, sporting a heavy beard and turban. It is believed that the film is an action thriller and Ranveer will be seen in the role of a RAW agent on a mission in Pakistan.

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh’s wife-actress Deepika Padukone launched her own production house, Ka Productions, a few years ago. Her production house has also backed two successful movies – Ranveer Singh’s ‘83 and Chhapaak.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer Singh is currently working on Aditya Dhar’s directorial, Dhurandhar. The movie also stars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Akshaye Khanna. Reportedly, he also has Farhan Akhtar’s directorial, Don 3. The movie will reportedly also star Kiara Advani. He was last seen in Singham Again, also starring Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Akshay Kumar.

In August 2023, Farhan Akhtar announced Ranveer Singh as the new Don in the popular franchise. Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan stepped into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan, featuring in Don and Don 2, also starring Priyanka Chopra.
