India’s Got Latent row: NCW rejects Ranveer, Samay and others virtual hearing plea

New Delhi: In a latest development in connection with the India’s Got Latent controversy, the National Commission for Women (NCW) has said in a statement that Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, and Apoorva Mukhija had requested virtual attendance, however, they did not accept it.

Meanwhile, YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia along with Samay Raina and Apoorva Mukhija , Jaspreet Singh and Asheesh Chanchlani are expected to appear before the National Commission for Women on Monday (February 17, 2025), as per PTI report. The show’s producers Tushar Poojari and Saurabh Bothra were also asked to appear before the panel.

For the unversed, Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija, and others found themselves in a legal soup over their ‘vulgar’ remarks on the roast show, India’s Latent Show. Multiple At least two FIRs have been registered against Allahbadia and Raina – one in Assam and another in Mumbai.
