In Uttar Pradesh 14 villages sealed because of one COVID-19 positive man Featured

The district administration in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun has put 14 villages under quarantine after a man tested positive for coronavirus ailment COVID-19.

The man from Andhra Pradesh stayed in a mosque in the Bhavanipur Khali region of the district and was diagnosed COVID-19 positive on Saturday.

He had gone to the Tablighi Jamaat occasion in Delhi's Nizamuddin a month ago.

"After the man tested positive for corona, the district administration has fixed 14 villages in the range of three kilometers from the village where he was remaining. Fourteen villages have been isolated," District Magistrate Kumar Prashant mentioned.

30 more COVID-19 new cases were accounted for in Uttar Pradesh's Agra on Monday, taking the count of cases in the district to 134. Of the 134 cases, in any event 60 individuals are from Tablighi Jamaat, District Magistrate Prabhu N Singh said.

According to the site of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the complete number of positive cases of coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh are 483, while five individuals have passed away because of the illness. And 46 are cured, discharged or relocated.

The complete number of COVID-19 positive cases across India arrived at 9,152 on Monday, said the health ministry. It further said that the loss of life because of the pandemic rose to 308 after 35 new fatalities were accounted for.

Of the total 308 fatalities, Maharashtra beat the count with 149 fatalities, trailed by Madhya Pradesh at 36, Gujarat at 25 and Delhi at 24. Punjab and Tamil Nadu have enrolled 11 fatalities each, while Telangana announced nine fatalities.
