IIT Jodhpur Recruitment 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur) has released a recruitment notification for the posts of Senior Medical Officer (on contract) and Medical Officer (on contract).

The appointment will be for an initial period of one year, extendable up to five years based on performance. Interested candidates can apply by 28 February 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Senior Medical Officer (On Contract)

• Pay (Consolidated): Rs. 80,000 – 1,50,000 per month
• Age Limit: Maximum 60 years (relaxation for deserving candidates)
• Educational Qualification:
  • M.D./D.N.B. in Emergency Medicine OR
  • M.D. in Medicine with at least 2 years of experience, preferably in handling emergencies.
• Tenure: Initially for one year, extendable up to five years based on annual performance review.

2. Medical Officer (On Contract)

• Pay (Consolidated): Rs. 60,000 – 1,00,000 per month
• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years
• Educational Qualification:
  • M.D. or M.S. in an appropriate branch of Medicine OR
  • M.B.B.S. with a Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field plus at least 2 years of experience in a recognized hospital OR
  • M.B.B.S. with compulsory internship and at least 4 years of experience in a recognized hospital.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Specialization in Medicine, Chest Diseases, Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynaecology, or Family Medicine.
  • Experience in a medical college or a large government/private hospital.
• Tenure: Initially for one year, extendable up to five years based on annual performance review.
