• Duration of the Project: Three years or co-terminus with the project

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must fulfill any one of the following qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Breeding/Seed Technology/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics with 4 or 5 years of Bachelor’s degree.
2. Postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Master’s degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience.
3. Ph.D. in Plant Breeding, Botany, Life Science, or Biotechnology.

Age Limit (as of interview date – 04.03.2025):

• Maximum Age: 35 years for men and 40 years for women
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India norms

Salary and Benefits for ICAR-NRRI Recruitment 2025

• 1st & 2nd Year: Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA as per rules
• 3rd Year: Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA as per rules
