IBM Recruitment 2025: Vacancy Details

The recruitment is for one (1) post of Chief Chemist in Level-13 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 1,23,100 – 2,15,900). The position will be filled through deputation, including short-term contracts.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Chief Chemist position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Employment Status

Candidates must be officers from the Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertakings, recognized research institutions, universities, semi-government, statutory, or autonomous organizations.

2. Experience

Candidates must fulfill one of the following experience criteria:

• Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department.
• Five years of regular service in Level-12 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 78,800 – 2,09,200) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.

3. Educational Qualifications

• Essential Qualification:
  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry.
  • Twelve (12) years of experience in a chemical laboratory under government organizations like Industrial Research Departments, carrying out chemical analysis of ores and minerals.
• Desirable Qualification:
  • A Doctorate degree in Chemistry from a recognized university.

4. Age Limit

The maximum age limit for deputation shall not exceed 56 years as of the closing date of the application.
