‘Home locked, phone switched-off’: Ranveer Allahbadia SKIPS second police summon

New Delhi: In the latest development in connection with Ranveer Allahbadia and India’s Got Latent controversy, the teams of Mumbai and Assam Police visited the residence of podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia but found the home locked, as per a police official quoted by PTI. Officials also confirmed that his phone was switched off when they tried to reach him.

At least two FIRs have been registered against Allahbadia and Samay Raina – one in Assam and the other in Mumbai. As per the PTI report, Mumbai and Assam police visited Ranveer Allahbadia’s Mumbai home on Thursday (February 14) morning but returned to Khar police station after they found his home locked.

The police also confirmed that Allahbadia had been asked to present at the Khar police station on Thursday to record his statement but he failed to appear despite police issuing a second summon. The officials also added that he requested police to record his statement at his residence but his request was turned down.

Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, found himself surrounded by controversy over his remarks on India’s Got Latent. After the controversy intensified, Samay Raina deleted all videos of India’s Got Latent from his YouTube Channel.
