Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:

• First-class M.Sc. degree in any of the following disciplines:
  • Microbiology
  • Marine Microbiology
  • Biotechnology
  • Biochemistry
  • Zoology
• Must have qualified for any of the following national eligibility tests:
  • CSIR-UGC NET (Including Lectureship)
  • GATE in Life Sciences
  • Any equivalent National Level Examination (DST, DBT, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, etc.) in Biological or Life Sciences

Desirable Qualification

• Experience in culturing and characterizing microorganisms.

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly Salary: Rs. 37,000/- per month
• House Rent Allowance (HRA): 27%

Goa University Vacancy 2025 – Selection Process

The selection will be based on a walk-in interview scheduled for 19/02/2025 at 10:30 AM at the Microbiology Discipline, School of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, Goa University. Candidates will be evaluated based on their qualifications, relevant experience, and performance in the interview.

The initial appointment will be for one year, extendable up to three years based on performance and approval by DBT. Selected candidates will be informed via email.
