‘Faltu ka panga le liya!’: Ashneer Grover SLAMS Salman Khan for Bigg Boss 18 spat

New Delhi: The drama from Bigg Boss 18 isn’t over yet, and no, it’s not a scripted twist this time. Former BharatPe founder and reality TV’s newest face Ashneer Grover has called out Bollywood’s beloved Bhaijaan Salman Khan for what he calls an unnecessary showdown on the show. Ashneer isn’t one to let bygones be bygones—especially when it comes to “faltu ka panga.”
During his guest appearance on Bigg Boss 18, Ashneer was grilled by Salman over his past remarks. Salman even claimed he didn’t know who Ashneer was, which clearly didn’t sit well with the entrepreneur.

Flash forward to Ashneer’s recent chat at NIT Kurukshetra, where he pulled no punches: “Faltu ka panga leke apna competition khada kiya usne. Main toh shanti se gaya tha jab mereko bulaya. Ab drama create karna ke liye aap kisiko bol do, ‘Arey main toh aapse mila hi nahi. I don’t even know your name.’ Abey naam nahi jaanta toh bulaaya kyun tha? (By picking an unnecessary fight, he created his own competition. I had gone peacefully when I was invited. Now, just to create drama, you tell someone, ‘Oh, I’ve never met you. I don’t even know your name.’ Hey, if you don’t know the name, why did you invite me).
Ashneer didn’t stop there. He reminded everyone that Salman had been a brand ambassador for BharatPe. “Tum agar meri company ke brand ambassador the toh aisa nahi ho sakta ki tum merese bina mile brand ambassador ban gaye (If you were the brand ambassador of my company, it’s not possible that you became the brand ambassador without meeting me).” In other words, “We definitely met, bro.” He even joked about running his company with a ruthless streak, adding, “Mai bhi kamino ki tarah hi company chalata tha.”
For context, Salman’s Bigg Boss clapback stemmed from an earlier podcast where Ashneer claimed he wasn’t allowed to click a photo with the star. On the show, Salman responded coolly, “Mujhe toh aapka naam bhi nahi pata tha (I did not even know your name).” brushing it off as no big deal.
Ashneer Grover’s Rise and Fall
While this war of words heats up, Ashneer is busy with his own reality show Rise and Fall on MX Player. Think of it as a corporate version of Bigg Boss, where contestants are split into “Rulers” and “Workers.”
