Bigg Boss 18: Here’s what Karan Veer Mehra said after winning Salman Khan-hosted show

New Delhi: After more than 100 days of an intense emotional roller coaster inside the Bigg Boss Season 18 house, television actor Karan Veer Mehra emerged victorious. The 47-year-old star was announced as the champion of the controversial reality series by Bollywood superstar and host Salman Khan on Monday (January 20, 2025).

During the show, a lot of discussions revolved around Karan Veer’s broken marriages took place. In a conversation with TV9 Hindi Digital, when asked about the same, he responded by saying that he is a very stubborn man and such matters do not affect him.

Karan Veer revealed that from the very beginning, he believed he could win Bigg Boss Season 18. He mentioned, “I had even told my manager this. As far as people’s taunts are concerned, none of it affects me. Be it body shaming or age shaming, I am handsome enough that such things don’t bother me. I did this show, lived it and I am happy that people showered their love upon me. I also thank the media for conveying my emotions to the public.”

While Karan Veer bagged the top spot, Vivian Dsena secured second place and Rajat Dalal finished third. Along with the prestigious trophy, the winner also received a whopping cash prize of Rs 50 lakh.

The grand finale of the 18th season of Bigg Boss was graced by numerous celebrities, including Aamir Khan. The Mr Perfectionist of the silver screen attended the concluding episode to promote his son Junaid Khan’s upcoming film Loveyapa, which also stars Khushi Kapoor.
