BeerBiceps controversy continues! Ranveer apologises, But Mumbai Police launches investigation

New Delhi: Well-known YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps seems to have landed in deep trouble. What began as a normal appearance in a wildly popular YouTube show, turned into a controversial incident that has now seen the entire internet chiming in. For those unversed, Ranveer Allahbadia faced backlash and now official complaints for ‘promotion of obscenity’ and ‘abusive language’.

Appearing on the panel of judges for Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent, Ranveer made a joke that offended the entire internet. Mumbai Police to investigate India’s Got Latent

Now, the Mumbai Police has launched an investigation against the show. As per our sources, this controversial episode of India’s Got Latent was recorded at The Habitat Studio in Khar West, Mumbai. DCP Zone 9 official, Dikshit Gedam has confirmed that the Police have launched an investigation and are looking into the matter.

After the clip went viral, a complaint was lodged against Ranveer, Instagram influencer Apoorva Mukhija aka Rebel Kid, comedian Samay Raina and India’s Got Latent organisers. Except Ranveer, none of the other parties have responded to the backlash and case against them. On Monday (February 10) Ranveer Allahbadia took to his X account to take full accountability for his comments and apologised to the public.

With two different complaints filed, one to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the other to the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women’s Commission, the complainants demanded strict action against the individuals involved. And it seems like the Mumbai Police have taken these allegations seriously.

Well, the YouTuber was part of the judge panel. In the viral clip, Ranveer Allahbadia is seen speaking to a contestant on the show. He asks, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life — or would you join in once and stop it forever?”. Yes, you read that right, this is the statement that has the internet in an uproar.
