Be Happy on OTT: When and where to watch Abhishek Bachchan’s heartwarming film online

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan is all set to take the world of OTT by storm once again. This time, the 49-year-old star will be hitting the digital space with a heartwarming father-daughter tale. Here, we are talking about his upcoming project, titled Be Happy.

Made by choreographer-turned-director Remo D’Souza, Be Happy is scheduled to be released on Prime Video on March 14, 2025. The exciting announcement was made by the streaming giant through a special social media post on Wednesday (February 26, 2025).

In the highly-discussed movie, Abhishek will be seen portraying the character of a devoted single father to a spirited and quick-witted daughter. It is produced by D’Souza’s wife, Lizelle Remo D’Souza, under the banner of Remo Dsouza Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

According to PTI, the official logline stated that the girl, with a dream of performing on the stage of the country’s biggest dance reality show, suddenly comes across a crisis that threatens to shatter her goal. And, as a result, her father is faced with an impossible choice to make. He then embarks on an extraordinary journey – challenging fate, rediscovering himself and uncovering the true meaning of happiness along the way to keep his daughter’s hopes alive.

The news agency quoted D’Souza as saying that he and his wife consider Be Happy to be a true passion project – a deeply moving story that celebrates the special bond between a father and daughter through the magic of music and dance. He added that they wanted to bring that emotion to life in a way that feels both authentic and uplifting.

Be Happy also features Nassar, Inayat Verma, Johny Lever and Harleen Sethi in pivotal roles. Now, it would be interesting to see how the flick performs upon its digital release.

On the theatrical front, Abhishek will next be taking the silver screen by storm with Housefull 5. The Akshay Kumar starrer is expected to be released later in 2025.
