Oscars 2025: 97th Academy Awards to be live streamed in India on THIS OTT platform

New Delhi: And, the countdown has begun for the most celebrated award night of the year. Yes, you guessed it right! Here, we are talking about Oscars 2025. The stage is set for the 97th Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which is scheduled to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

If you are wondering when and where you will be able to stream the prestigious event in India, well, here are the details! You will be amazed to know that the Oscars can be watched LIVE on Star Movies, Star Movies Select and JioHotstar on Monday (March 3, 2025) at 5:30 AM. Its repeat telecast will be aired at 8:30 PM on Star Movies and Star Movies Select. Excited much?

Interestingly, the upcoming ceremony will be hosted by Emmy Award-winning comedian Conan O’Brien. The 61-year-old star, with his signature wit and humour, is expected to tickle the funny bones of all those watching, either from the venue or through screens. While it is his first time hosting the Oscars, he previously hosted the Emmys in 2002 and 2006.

Oscars 2025, in order to take the entertainment quotient up a notch, will feature a ‘Wicked’ medley performed by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. Other performers for the star-studded night include BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Doja Cat and Raye.

Another special highlight of the award function will be rapper and singer Queen Latifah paying a special tribute to the legendary Quincy Jones. It is to be noted that Jones, in his splendid career, has received numerous accolades, including 28 Grammy Awards.
