Spider-Man 4 gets NEW release date, avoiding clash with Nolan’s The Odyssey

New Delhi: Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has slowly risen to become a fan favourite. With the immense success of the first three films, fans have been waiting for the fourth instalment. News about Spider-Man’s fourth film has been circulating online for quite a while. Well, new reports suggest that we might finally have an update on it.

The release of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 has been pushed back slightly. The film was initially set to release on July 24, 2026, but, Tom’s appearance in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey seems to have changed the schedule. Here is what we know so far.

When to expect Spider-Man 4 in theaters?

On Saturday (February 22), Sony Pictures announced that Spider-Man 4 will now hit cinemas on July 31, 2026, a week later than initially planned. This seems to be in line with Tom, who recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and confirmed, “Next summer, we start shooting. Everything’s good to go – we’re nearly there, super exciting. I can’t wait!”

As there are no details on the film’s cast, it remains unclear if Zendaya, who has played  MJ in all three previous films, is returning for this fourth entry. This places the film’s release nearly three months after Avengers: Doomsday, which is also rumoured to include Tom Holland as Spider-Man in a short role.

July 2026 is going to be a feast for Tom Holland fans as The Odyssey is set to release in theatres on July 17, 2026.
