Sreeleela’s Bollywood debut confirmed – First look with Kartik Aaryan looks intense!

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan was rumoured to be working with Anurag Basu for his upcoming film. Although there is no confirmation, the film was speculated to be Aashiqui 3. Now, Kartik has officially confirmed his next project with Anurag Basu, but there have been no details about the title or release date of the film.

Further, to fans’ surprise, Kartik Aaryan will be sharing the screen with his co-star, Tollywood actress Sreeleela. That is right! A teaser for the film is now out and here is everything we know so far.

Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela took to Instagram to share a teaser for their next untitled project, set to release on Diwali 2025. In the teaser, Kartik sports a full beard, and messy hair as he sings on stage in his heartbroken lover-boy persona. Singing “Tu hi zindagi hai, tu hi Aashiqui hai” at a concert packed with people, the clip switches to  Sreeleela. Titled, “An Anurag Basu and Pritam musical” the film could not make it any obvious. Although the makers have yet to give a title to the film, the fans are convinced that it is Aashiqui 3.

Earlier reports suggested that Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimrii were to reunite for Anurag Basu’s upcoming film. Anurag Basu scrapped such speculation, leaving fans in the dark. But, it is now confirmed that Sreeleela will be making her Bollywood debut with this project.

Sreeleela has been making headlines after her dance number in the biggest film in Indian history, Pushpa 2: The Rule in 2024. Sreeleela has previously worked in both Telugu and Kannada cinema. She made her debut in a lead role with the 2021 film Kiss. Apart from Anurag Basu’s film, Sreeleela is set to star in the 2025 films – Robinhood, Mass Jathara, Paraskathi, and Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
