New Delhi: ‘Desi girl’ Priyanka Chopra is in India to attend her brother Siddharth’s wedding. The celebrations are magical as the wedding bells are ringing in the Chopra household. The Citadel star is also soaking in the festive spirit as her brother gears up to tie the knot with actress Neelam Upadhyaya.

On Tuesday (February 4), PeeCee’s mother Dr Madhu Chopra gave fans a sneak peek into the family’s intimate gathering. Taking to her Instagram handle, she shared heartwarming photos from the Mata Ki Chowki where the Chopra family sought divine blessings for the couple. Dr Madhu looked radiant in a magenta suit while Priyanka dazzled in an orange traditional ensemble, exuding grace and festive charm.
“A divine start to the wedding festivities! May Mata Rani bless the couple @siddharthchopra89 @neelamupadhyaya with happiness, love, and prosperity. Blessed to have family and friends around for this auspicious start,” the caption read.

Mehendi, music and Malti Marie’s adorable cameo
But the celebrations didn’t stop there. Dr Madhu also shared glimpses from Siddharth’s Mehendi ceremony. In one particular picture, Priyanka stood alongside other women, dressed in traditional attire while her little one, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, stole hearts in an adorable frock. Sharing the moment, Dr Madhu wrote on her Instagram story, “Behnaas and bhabhi taking Sajan ki Mehendi.”

Priyanka Chopra in ‘Shaadi ka ghar’
Earlier, the Dostana actress herself shared snippets from the “shaadi ka ghar” vibes. From sangeet rehearsals to candid family moments, her Instagram was a colourful collage of joy. In one picture, Priyanka was seen perfecting dance moves, while Malti Marie enjoyed playtime with a friend, surrounded by sketchbooks and colours.
“Shaadi ka ghar..!! And it begins tomorrow—mere bhai ki shaadi hai @siddharthchopra89 with @neelamupadhyaya!! From sangeet practice to family jams—so good to be home.
