SSC JE Final Result 2025 OUT: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially declared the Final Result for the Junior Engineer (JE) Examination 2024. This recruitment aims to fill vacancies for Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical) in various government departments such as the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Border Roads Organization (BRO), Military Engineering Services (MES), and other prestigious organizations. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their final selection status on the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.

The selection process consisted of two papers—Paper-I (Computer-Based Test) and Paper-II (Descriptive/Computer-Based Test)—followed by the submission of Option-cum-Preference for department allocation. A total of 1,701 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for Document Verification (DV) before final appointment. The selection was made based on merit, cut-off marks, normalization, and category-wise vacancies.

SSC JE Final Result 2025 OUT: Selection Process & Cut-off Criteria

The final selection is based on candidates’ performance in Paper-I and Paper-II, considering the cut-off marks and normalization procedures. The minimum qualifying marks for both papers are:

• UR (General): 30%
• OBC/EWS: 25%
• SC/ST and Others: 20%

Normalization Applied: Since different engineering branches (Mechanical & Electrical) had separate question papers, normalization was used for fair evaluation.

A total of 1,701 candidates have been shortlisted for the next phase, Document Verification (DV). The breakdown of vacancies filled per category is:

• Highest Cut-off (UR): 400.42902 marks (CPWD)
• Lowest Cut-off (PwD Others): 189.45462 marks (MES)

Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

• Highest Cut-off (UR): 433.68827 marks (CPWD – Electrical)
• Lowest Cut-off (PwD Others): 221.33184 marks (MES)

Tie Resolution Criteria

If two or more candidates secured the same marks, SSC resolved the tie based on:

1. Higher marks in Paper-II
2. Older candidates given preference
3. Alphabetical order of names

• Document Verification (DV) will be conducted by the respective user departments.
