New Delhi: Sherlyn Chopra is a model and actress known for appearing in popular reality shows Bigg Boss and MTV Spiltsvilla. While the actress is often seen hitting the town’s best spots with friends, recently, she was spotted with a new companion. In videos clicked by the paparazzi, Sherlyn was seen with a baby girl. This led to speculation that she legally adopted a child.

Sherlyn took to her Instagram account and posted photos with the baby with the caption, “A blessing that no one can replace.” The pap videos show Sherlyn seen delicately trying to free her hair from the baby’s grasp saying, “Mummy ka baal chod do.” So, what made Shrelyn take this life-altering decision? Sherlyn Chopra is also seen speaking to the paparazzi, stating that the baby was one of her best decisions. She revealed that the baby girl was born a few months ago and said, “Mera sapna sakaar ho gaya.”

In 2024, Sherlyn Chopra revealed that she could not become a mother due to an autoimmune disorder called Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). She claimed that the disease resulted in her kidney failure and was battling it since 2021. During a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Sherlyn revealed that the doctor advised her to stay on medication for the rest of her life. Further, she added, “They also advised that I should never contemplate getting pregnant because it could be life-threatening for both the baby and the mother.”

However, this did not stop Sherlyn from pursuing her desire to be a mother. She previously expressed her wish to embrace motherhood explaining that she was ‘born to be a mother’ and that she feels an ‘indescribable happiness’ when she thinks about children. Sherlyn also revealed that she would continue working and would hire a nanny who would take care of her children in her absence.
