1. Chargeman (Electrical) – 24 positions
2. Electrician ‘A’ – 36 positions
3. Electrician ‘B’ – 36 positions
4. Winding Engine Driver (WED) ‘B’ – 7 positions

Hindustan Copper Limited Workmen Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the recruitment, candidates must meet specific educational qualifications and experience requirements based on the post they are applying for. Here’s a quick overview:

• Chargeman (Electrical)
  Candidates must hold a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least one year of experience in mining installations as a supervisor. Alternatively, candidates with an ITI in Electrical or Class 10th with relevant supervisory experience can apply if they have a valid Supervisory Certificate of Competency.
• Electrician ‘A’
  Applicants must possess an ITI in Electrical with a minimum of four years of experience as an electrician or Class 10th with seven years of experience as an electrician. A valid wiremen permit is mandatory.
• Electrician ‘B’
  Requires an ITI in Electrical with three years of experience or Class 10th with six years of experience. Similar to Electrician ‘A,’ a valid wiremen permit is a prerequisite.
• WED ‘B’
  Candidates can apply with a Diploma in any field, a graduate degree, or Class 10th qualifications provided they meet the relevant work experience requirements. A valid 1st Class Winding Engine Driver’s Certificate is essential.

Hindustan Copper Limited Workmen Selection Process 2025

The selection process consists of two stages:

Written Test

• The test will carry 100 marks and include objective-type questions in English and Hindi.
• The subjects tested include trade-specific knowledge (80 marks) and general knowledge (20 marks).

Trade Test & Writing Ability Test

This test is qualifying in nature and will evaluate the candidate’s practical skills relevant to the position.

• Minimum marks required to qualify:
  • SC/ST: 35
  • OBC (NCL): 38
  • UR/EWS: 40

Merit lists will be prepared based on written test scores, and in the case of a tie, factors like Class 10th percentage and age will be considered.
