Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing case statement: 26 crucial questions by Mumbai Police

New Delhi: As investigations into the much-talked-about Saif Ali Khan stabbing case continue, Mumbai Police recently recorded the actor’s statement in the matter. Satyanarayan Choudhary, Joint CP of Law and Order, was quoted as saying that the renowned Bollywood star’s statement was recorded at his residence Satguru Sharan on Thursday (January 23, 2025).

According to sources, the 52-year-old hunk was asked more than two dozen questions by the cops as part of the probe. His statement was recorded over a span of more than one hour. Reportedly, these questions were asked to Saif:

1. Your name, age, profession and address?
2. How many years have you been living at this address?
3. What happened on the night of January 15 and 16? Tell us in detail.
4. How many people were in the house at the time of the incident and who?
5. Do you remember the face of the attacker? Can you identify him if you see him?
6. Did the attacker enter the house through the main door or from some other way?
7. Did you see the attacker running away?
8. Who all did you call and give what information after the attack?
9. How did you reach the hospital?
10. Who all were there while going to the hospital?
11. Was the main door of the house open during the attack?
12. Were there any signs of forced entry visible anywhere?
13. Who has the keys to the main door?
14. Do you suspect any staff member?
15. Do you suspect any outsider?
16. Do you have any old enmity with anyone?
17. Did you have any argument or fight with anyone recently?
18. Who all came to the house in the last few months?
19. Did all the acquaintances come or was there someone who came for the first or second time?
20. If any construction work was done in the house, terrace, or building who was given the contract, how many people came? How do you know these contractors or labourers?
21. Was the person seen in the CCTV the attacker?
22. Was the person we have arrested the same individual present on the night of the attack?
23. Was any expensive item found missing from the house?
24. During the attack, was there any conversation with the attacker?
25. Have you ever seen this attacker before?
26. Why did you not install CCTV in your house or at the door?

Saif Ali Khan stabbing case latest update

The police custody of the Bangladeshi man arrested for allegedly stabbing Saif at his home during a robbery attempt last week was extended till January 29, 2025, by a Mumbai court on Friday (January 24, 2025). The accused, identified as Shareeful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir, was produced by cops before a magistrate’s court in Bandra at the end of his previous remand.
