Razzie Awards 2025: Full list of nominations revealed to honour the worst in cinema

New Delhi: While numerous awards around the world celebrate the best in cinema, the Golden Raspberry Awards (Razzies) take a unique approach by honouring the worst in filmmaking. This year, some of the nominations will definitely leave you surprised.

You will be shocked to know that Joker: Folie à Deux, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, has received multiple nominations in various categories. Many social media users are still in disbelief about the same.

“The Razzie nominations are out. I think they’re being a bit harsh on Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, but I can’t really argue against the others,” shared one X (formerly Twitter) user. Another questioned, “Is this the first time an actor has been Razzie-nominated for playing the same character he won an Oscar for previously?”

For the unversed, the Todd Phillips directorial failed to create a significant impact at the Box Office. The jukebox musical psychological thriller, based on DC Comics characters, featured the 50-year-old actor as Arthur Fleck/Joker and the 38-year-old diva as Harley ‘Lee’ Quinzel. Despite massive pre-release buzz online, the movie struggled to attract notable footfall in theaters.
